SMALL SQUARES OF LIGHT
A new exhibition of 36 photographs. Images are quite abstract and each has 3 words attached making 108 words. 108 being a special number.
THE CANVAS
A Whats On guide to the Art scene in Faversham. I am mentoring a group of very keen and able sixth formers from QE School Faversham who are producing what will be a lively and interesting free publication.
HINDU TEMPLE PAINTINGS
A series of new paintings inspired by my visits to Hindu Temples and sacred places of South India.
AUTOMATA
I am working on new automata and restoring some of my earlier pieces with a view to an exhibition later in 2011.
SOUTH INDIA
I am planning my next adventure to South India, sometime next March, where I will work on my Hindu Temple photographs and paintings plus catch up with old friends.
AN EVENING OF SOUTH INDIAN FOOD AND CULTURE
This is just the working title to an event where Corrine Goodman will demonstrate some of her wonderful South Indian food and I will present an illustrated talk. The talk will be random ramblings about my adventures in South India. We want to inspire you to visit India.
LUTON HOUSE GARDEN
A photographic record spanning one year of the garden of Luton House, Selling, by kind permission of Sir John and Lady Swire. Hundreds of pictures that will be put onto DVD and some will be made into a limited edition book.
CREEK CREATIVE
I am still very involved with helping to develop Creek Creative into something very special for Faversham.
A YEAR IN THE LIFE OF FAVERSHAM - SERIES 3
Following on from another well received exhibition in September we are now looking towards taking pictures during 2011 for an exhibition in 2012. We are extending the project to include the Sounds of Faversham. We are also looking to run the project in Sheppey and Canterbury.
THE ART OF ALLOTMENTEERING
New projects planned for the Joyce Field allotment in Ospringe over winter like a pyramidal shed and a glasshouse made of old windows. Autumn planting is getting quite urgent now.
JOINT PHOTOGRAPHIC EXHIBITION
A joint exhibition with photographer Andrew J Pegram. Some of his work is titled London in a Difficult Light and will fit well with my Disappearing Light series. Have a look at some of his work: http://ajpegramartist.blogspot.com/
We plan to have this exhibition at Creek Creative some time next year.
